The RAINY SEASON has begun! Boy oh boy can it rain. The streets turn to rivers in minutes. Drivers beware and walkers look out! One good thing is in the rainy season the refrigerator and the lights work most of the time, since we have hydro electric power. We harvest our own water and pump it into our water tank to save a few dollars. It is cooler too! 72 at night and 100 or less during the day, but the humidity is always high. We hang out our clothes and it takes about 3 days to dry them. Each night they have to be taken in and hung out the next day. Insects lay thier eggs in the clothing after dark and then if you wear them they burrow into your skin and plant parasites that have to come out.
